A full report of the trial of Pierce, Burgess & Tester for the Great Gold Robbery with eight illustrations by P. Cruikshank including portraits of Agar, Fanny Kay, and Child. Rear leaf incomplete and glued to the end cover and general grubbly with some edge chipping. Very scarce as this historic booklet was printed on cheap paper and well read at the time! Original cover with the pasted down label intact. The story of the robbery that took palce in 1855 when four men committed an audacious theft of£12,000 worth of gold froma London Bridge train bound for Paris.
