About This Item
Ex-library book has usual markings, stamps, stickers, writing, card holder. No DJ. Some bumping, rubbing, fading on the top, spine, edges, corners. Outer page edges with tanning, browning, stains and foxing. Library tape has been placed on the spine to reenforce. First fly leaf page has been removed. Slight guttering has happened between illustrated end page and half title page. No loose pages and binding if tight. It takes you back to a slower time, when the pace of life was not quite so hectic. These are, by all accounts, true stories about the authors own dogs. A fascinating look at the life of a dog in the late 1800's early 1900's in the rural New Jersey country side. 1922. A17.
