(28 pp.), 26 full page historic, color images of the progress made to rebuild Galveston since the devastating hurricane of 1900. Views in full color include the sea wall, causeway and wooden trestle with trains, promenade along sea wall, shipping scene, mosquito fleet landing, cotton cargoes, cotton bales, birds eye view of city park, Ball High School, Federal Building, Trinity Church, YMCA, Tremont Hotel, court house, Ursuline Convent, Monument of Daughters of the Confederacy, Hotel Galvez showing the residence section, beach scenes, bath houses. Galveston's first skyscraper, etc. Covers lightly soiled, light evidences of creases to the front and rear covers, a few interior photographs with tiny nicks and creases to the fore-edges and corners, else a very good copy of a scarce Texas booklet.
