Black boards with gold colored spine lettering and light edge wear. Front free endpaper contains tiny writing/notes from previous owner. Five or six pages of text contain pencil or ink unobtrusive underling; one page with notes in white space at bottom of a page, no other writings or marginalia found in rest of text. Text block itself tight. Mellow age toning to the papers. Dust jacket is complete but is starting to separate along fold line. Light stain on front, much shelf & edge wear with chips at head & heel of spine and along flap folds. (See photos.) Not price clipped. Concludes with Appendices of Notes to the Chapters and a comprehensive Index.
