Gertrude Jekyll [1843 - 1932] was a giant in British garden design who not only created hundreds of gardens through out the world but also published numerous books and hundreds of magazine articles. Her work has made a huge impact on British and American landscape architecture.
Large 4to, 260pp,16pp publisher's catalogue, half black leather binding and blue cloth boards, with gilt title and decoration on spine. Slt dusty internally, still very good with color and b&w ills.
