Boston and New York: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1924. Second Impression . Blue Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. January, 1924. Frontispiece: faux signature of author dated September, 1923, is tissue protected. Preface by H.H. is dated Sept. 26, 1923 at Dublin, New Hampshire. Book is divided thus: Part I. Life and Friends, Part II. My Four Great Teachers, Part III. Conclusions. Illustrations: frontis, HH at 25, at 47 and at 70. 443 pp. plus: Index. Dark blue boards feature gilt text on spine and text/decorations (open book over banner) on front. Book has rough cut fore edge. Spine ends are rubbed, corners very slightly scuffed. Several pages towards back are uncut. Book is tight, square and the dedication of Mrs. Holt, notwithstanding, unnotated. ffep : To our old and dear friend __ Charles W.
