New York: Doubleday, Page and Co, 1922 Olive Brown cloth covers,with black lettering and silouette of woman and title and author's name on the front cover(in pencil), main title page has the red seal and red border, has 1922 at the bottom.No mention of printings on the copyright page,but since others listed mention First Edition, this has to be the 1st trade ed. Book has minor shelfwear only,but previous owner inscribed in pencil 1st leaf. DJ: has the net $1.75 penciled thur,and damaged it.Minor soiling,small tears and chipping,but still a nice bright orginial dj.. First Trade Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good+.
