About This Item

All 3 books in this series and difficult to locate thus. Part 1 is a 1969 (4th) printing, with the very large and colorful state geological map dated 1950. Apparently it was not revised up till then at least. Bright and clean with no signs of wear, an excellent candidate for framing. The other 2 volumes are both dated 1956 and are complete with similar maps. The Mines map is rather small and uninteresting when compared next to the others which remain quite bright. The Map from Part 2 in the rear pocket (Geological Map of New Hampshire) is even larger than the first, measuring approximately 41" wide by 54" tall is visually stunning with bright colors and details. It was likely never unfolded till now for photos. A great set of NH Geology. Not nearly as complete as the Hitchcock set but it is more up-to-date with larger maps in colors, at a fraction the cost of that Atlas! A Near Fine Set of all 3 books.
