Harrisburg, PA: Board of Commisioners for the Second Geological Survey, 1883. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. G/none, used, dark colored cloth binding with gilt text on spine, v-xxx, 464pp plus ads to rear as well as maps in pocket at rear. Ex-library copy. Interior clean no marks except an oval library stamp on the title page, no evidence of a card pocket, A couple of pages have the blind stamp of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania library department on them. Binding is firm, the rear hinge is started and weak. The rear map pocket is torn in two places. Slight shelf rubbing to exterior, gilt text on spine is faded. Corners are a little worn, head and tail of the spine is worn.
