Salmurii: Girardi, Lerpinerii, Burelli, 1621.. 24mo. Full contemporary vellum, spine dated in gilt at the base, lettered in gilt on a panel of brown calf. 19th century inscription on front end paper; holograph notes in French about Buchanan on two rear blanks; light wear to title, a clean very good copy. End papers renewed, likely in the 19th century. 316pp. + 376pp., separate title pages for Paraphrasis Psalmorum Davidis Poetica (Burelli, 1621), Franciscanus et Fratres (Burelli, 1620) and Sphaera (Burelli, 1621). Small woodcut designs on title pages, also decorative headpieces at beginnings of sections. An uncommon edition of Buchanan's works, contents and pagination similar to the scarce Elzevier edition of the same date.
