The ninth edition of this work.The Gertrude of Wyoming is a romantic epic poem written by Scottish poet Thomas Campbell within the context of the Battle of Wyoming, a battle that took place during the American revolutionary War.This and others of Campbell's poems feature in this work, with notes to the rear of the book. In full calf binding. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities, heaviest to the spine with slight loss to title. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are clean and bright with light spotting to the endpapers. Contemporary ink inscription to front free endpaper. Very Good
