Solid binding. Bright, clean pages. Many b/w photos. Unique copy/history. Cover dressed in mylar. Library stickers outside and stamps within. Assumed first edition. A revealing volume about Dwight D. Eisenhower by one of his closest associates. Contains much not found in any other biographies. Apart from their military association, having served under "Ike" during WWII in Africa and the ETO, Brig. General Nevins also notably managed Eisenhower's Gettysburg farm for 16 years. Very intimate and probing account.
