New York, NY: Panther House Limited, 1968. Second Printing. Guzman, Miguel. An anthology of poetry by 12 writers from the Workshop for Young Writers in East Harlem. Includes 16 black and white illustrations by Miguel Guzman. Per a review of the work we found on JSTOR: "All the contributors share at least four experiences. They are young, adolescent (the youngest is fifteen); they are 'ghetto cats'; they are American negroes, which is almost the same thing; and they are writers. These are four distinct kinds of suffering..." Pp. 96. Perfect binding, glossy paper wraps with tissue-like paper jacket. A few faint stains and light edge wear to jacket, inner gutters browned along first and last few leaves. Else clean, fresh, very good. Seller inventory # 52031.
