About This Item

Philadelphia: Curtis Publishing Company, 1952:June. First appearance. Periodical. Good. The very first appearance of Ferber's novel, Giant (first part of six). Includes a color illustration by Joe De Mers. Also includes an original discussion of the novel by Ferber, illustrated with a small black & white photograph and facsimile signature. A complete intact issue with cover starting to split, small ink note on front with slight dampstain on a few pages. Still a very presentable copy of an item every Ferber completist needs.
