Bound in very clean green cloth with clear black titles and small silhouette figure to front board with bow and arrow,this dated 1944 has a 98% complete jacket and is VG. 185pp with Introduction, 15 Chapters, coloured Frontis of Gimlet with revolver and Nine full page line drawings by Stead. Book is Vg but jacket has chips at top/tail of spine and top/tail of fold of return flaps, and signs of rubbing along these fold edges. 2 inch closed tear to foot of front return flap. Late owner's address label pasted to FFEP, 8cm x 4cm. Thus VG in near VG jacket . Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 1944.
