About This Item
New York: Knopf, 2008. First printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/near fine. This is the rare first US edition, first printing of the first in the Millennium Trilogy, that has gone on to become the best-selling phenomenon of recent times. Book and unclipped jacket are in excellent condition, with slight rubbing to book spine, else fine. Larsson's genius, given that long stretches of the books are tangled with dreary detail and curious Swedish coffee mornings, is to have created characters who we really care about. The action sequences get better and better as the books progress.
