The Girl's Own Paper was a British story paper catering to girls and young women, published from 1880 until 1956. Containing illustrations, songs, poetry, educational articles, stories, recipes, hobbies, tips, questions and answers and more. Printed in London.
Hardback, half-leather binding with marbled paper on card boards. Boards are quite scuffed and worn at edges. Spine chipped at top. Corners bumped and a little torn. Binding reasonably firm. Page edges a bit browned. Some marks to page surfaces here and there but otherwise quite clean, the odd tear and crease but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
