Publication date is not given, but it appears to be a reprint of the 1979 Crown Publishing Company edition, thus a first edition thus. Measures 11" x 8 1/4" x 3 1/2" in height, width and thickness, and clocks in at nearly seven and a half pounds. Bound quite handsomely in a brown leatherette and with red-speckled page edges. Illustrations by Sir John Gilbert and Ray Abel, engravings by The Brothers Dalziel. 2386 pp. including an interesting Foreword by Solomon J. Schepps. Partial contents: Titus Andronicus, Cymbeline, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, As You Like It, King Richard the Third, King Lear, Othello.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
