About This Item
New York : Donald I. Fine, 1986. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First (limited) edition.. Small octavo. The last novel by a writer much under-appreciated by the vast majority of modern readers of speculative sf. This edition limited to 350 hand-numbered copies, of which this is #309. Contains an introduction by Robert A. Heinlein, and an afterword by Stephen R. Donaldson (both pieces interesting reading in their own rights). Brick cloth w/gilt spine lettering/facsimile signature, 159 pages, frontispiece photograph of Sturgeon, in brick slipcase w/facsimile signature in gilt. Gently bumped spine ends, what might be (tough to tell for certain) a faint moisture stain to bottom right corner of front cover, lightly scuffed cloth, in G-VG moderately scuffed brick-coloured cloth slipcase..
