Orange-yellow cloth binding, no obvious faults. 190 pp., faint tanning to front end-paper, offset from jacket and more extensively, but very faintly, to rear pastedown, otherwise no obvious faults, red-tinted top edge. Unclipped jacket in protective sleeve as acquired is clean and unworn but has a shallow ripple crease just below top edge. Apparently scarce. ' (Author's) main thesis is that among the masses in the West there is a vast underground of belief, almost unconnected with officialdom'. Much on Blake, Milton, Hugo, Edmund Spenser, varieties of Christianity such Christadelphians, Virgin Mary cult and The Zohar, plus anonymous statements provided to Dr M. Joycey Fisher 1934-1943. .14 cm x 22 cm
