After recovering from wounds at Midway, he participated in succeeding campaigns as a staff officer and finally was present on the deck of the USS Missouri for the Japanese surrender. Based entirely on post-war interviews with the author during and after the time he converted his faith to Christianity. A clean pristine edition.
