About This Item
USA: Knopf, 2004. First edition, first printing. This is a very near fine copy. The dust wrapper, nicely illustrated by Ruth Marten, has some slight handling marks and rubbing to the front panel and spine. It has not been price clipped. The internals are clean and the text blocks bright and white. The boards are free from notable chips and marks. Overall, this is a very near fine copy of an increasingly scarce title. Not produced in the UK. Notably filmed, beautifully, by Ridley Scott in 2006, featuring Russell Crowe and the delightful Marion Cotillard.
Synopsis
Peter Mayle eats, drinks, writes, and lives in Provence. This is his ninth book, and his fifth novel.
