About This Item
(London: Macmillan: 1940) First Edition. Pictorial boards (that is, hard covers) pp. viii, 388. Illustrated, including full-page reproductions of some of his wood engravings. Index. First Edition. Top edge dusty; a small spot of paint on the rear board; otherwise a near fine copy in price-clipped dust-jacket which has a chip to the head of its spine, some wear along its top edge, and foxing to its blind side, but is overall very good.
