Previous owner's inscription to title page. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light sunning to spine and edges. Clipped jacket has heavy edgewear with areas of loss, heavy tears, chips, and creasing. Light tanning to spine and edges. Wear marks overall.

Wraps. [108]pp printed in Switaerland, the B&W photographs of Greek life and landsacpe were produced in photogravure; there are 9 colour plates as well.
