Lovely bwon and blue zebra patterned hardcover with bright orange paper label that extends from the spine to the front cover, bright orange paper dust jacket with minor chipping at the top & bottom of the spine. No previous owner's names, not exlibrary. Overall an EXCELLENT condition book in an EXCELLENT dust jacket. A good gift. The Green Goddess was a popular stage play of 1921 by William Archer. In the three years after its publication, the play toured in both America and England. In 1923 the play was the inspiration for a film, whilst in 1925 a railway locomotive was named after it, the locomotive's owner having been inspired by the stage play.. Hard Cover. Fine/Near Fine. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Hardcover.
