About the author

Norm Crampton has worked in the waste prevention field for a number of years--as secretary of the Institute for Solid Wastes of the American Public Works Association, member of the Solid Waste Advisory Commission of the City of Chicago, and executive director of the Indiana Institute on Recycling. He is the author of the textbook Preventing Waste at the Source and the first popular book on household waste reduction, Complete Trash: The Best Way to Get Rid of Practically Everything Around the House, published by M. Evans & Company in 1989.
