USA: Grosset & Dunlap, 1913. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7?" - 9?" tall. Anton Otto Fischer. Type: Hardback 1913 Hardcover Reprint in Good- Condition. Out-of-Print. 350 pages. C alifornia history physical description, gold mines, mining, miners. Brown full cloth binding with black lettering. The upper part of front panel is discolored to a greenish cast, irregular shape. Boards are aged, corners and spine ends are frayed, scuffed, edges are rubbed. Foxing on endpapers and flyleafs and a few interior pages. Frontispiece illustration of cowboys and gringos. Other illustrations by Anton Otto Fischer. Inner hinge cracked. Sewn binding is tight, backstrap loosened. So the cover is in rough shape but the interior is in remarkably good condition--clean, untorn, some pages with foxing. Illustrations clean and clear. Previous owner name on paste-down. Reprint Published later in October,1913, by Grosset & Dunlap. Originally published October,1913, by Little, Brown and Co.
