NY: Crowell; (1950). First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Stated Fourth printing, very good in a very good dust jacket. Small dampstain at lower left front board wrapping to the spine (not evident on interior pages). Owner name and date (1951) on front endpaper. The jacket also shows the dampstain previously described, and there are a number of small chips at edges and spine ends. $5.00 price on jacket flap, and "Second Printing" on lower portion of front flap. Includes some color illustrations and an index; 288 pages.
