Chicago: The Reilly & Britton Co, 1918. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/no jacket. tips worn, corners bumped, spine worn. All illustrations present and correct, including one fold-out map. An account of his service in the French Foreign Legion as an American sailor during WW1. Depew was captured was captured by the Germans on his return voyage to the US and spent several months as a POW. He returned to the US in time for the American entry into the war. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Hard Cover.
