Description

Kingswood, Surrey, UK: The World's Work. Very Good- in Fair dust jacket. 1955. 1st UK Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. In overall a very clean red cloth with clear black titles to spine, a dark stain near the inner side of the top of the spine - fairly negligible - all titling deep and clear. In the original un-clipped publisher's dust-jacket which has a dark stain to the top of the spine, a chunk torn away from the edge of the spine and now lacking the title on the front cover o/w the rest of the d/j is present and is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks much better. See Images. The page fore-edges have some light toning and pale spotting (foxing) with age, but are generally clean. Internally excellent with NO Inscriptions or Marks. 158 pp. Plain end-papers, with very slight offsetting. 8 b/w photo Illustrations of Rocky Marciano in action in the Ring against various opponents. Overall a near VG Plus copy, just down-graded due to the faulty dustjacket. Quite Scarce. See Images; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
