London: Collins, 1937. Neat inscription on front end paper. No other marks and no creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with unmarked matt brown cloth unevenly sunned boards, tanning to page edges and very minor bumping to lower front corner. Sixteen plates plus 134pp. Autobiography of humorous cartoonist HM Bateman who usually depicted someone involved in a social gaffe over much of the early 20th century. As well as the cartoon plates at the end, the book has many more of Bateman's drawings throughout. Newspaper obituary from 1970 tucked in.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 10.5 x 8 inches.
