First Edition of this collection of six contributions that had appeared in Chambers's Journal in the late 1840s, here published in book form for the first time -- as a tribute, ten years after the author's death. This is an unusually bright copy, fine except for a small mark on the front cover. Sadleir 1810; Wolff 4991.
