Cassell and Company, Limited, London, 1888. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket. 224 pages (complete). A much owned book. There is a presentation inscription on the frontispage dated 1893. An attempt (successful) has been made to reinforce and repair the spine and binding with masking tape. The board cover is much marked, worn. It is heroic and strong. Inside, the pages are marked, foxed. They are tight, sure and approachable and companionable. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
