Houghton Mifflin, 1984. First American edition, first printing. NF / VG. Black and grey cloth & boards with silver lettering on spine. Signed by Theroux on the title page, no inscriptions. Two short novels, "Doctor Slaughter" and "Doctor De Marr" which were originally published under the title "Doctor Slaughter" in Great Britain and the basis for the 1986 movie with Sigourney Weaver and Michael Caine. Book is square, tight binding, clean and unmarked with minimal shelf wear. The unclipped dust jacket shows wear at spine and corners with one short, closed tear. Now protected in mylar cover. Carefully packaged and shipped in a box.
