Vandenberg Room at the University of Michigan, dated October 16, 1974. Also, a folder about the Arthur H. Vandenberg Papers in the Michigan Historical Collections at the Bentley Historical Library of the U of M. Vandenberg's career began as a newspaperman in Grand Rapids, MI and became an influential member of the United States Senate for nearly a quarter of a century, the leading exponent within the Congress of a bipartisan foreign policy; after World War II he became one of the principal founders of the United Nations.
