About This Item

Chicago and New York: Willett, Clark & Company, 1934. Second Printing. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Near Fine/Very Good-. 8vo. Pp. 319. Bound in taupe cloth with metallic bronze lettering stamped on spine. Top edge dyed red with a sparkly bronze quality that's slightly worn off. In the illustrated dust jacket with faded spine and light edge-wear, as well as a chip at top right on the front panel. Please see photos. A handsome copy. The uncredited dust jacket design is a marvel of Constructivist styling, showing a strong fist amid angular blocks of red and black, and with requisite art-deco skyscrapers thrown in. Dust jacket is now protected in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
