About This Item
New York: Boy Scouts of America, 1938. Trade Paperback. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 598 pp. Eighth printing. The cover is scuffed, and the book has a pronounced cock to it. Previous owner name on title page. There is no doubt this book has been used. The binding, however, is tight and the text is clean. A fascinating look at scouting in days gone by; I'm sure the swastikas on the leatherwork examples on p. 477 were replaced before too long with something a bit more politically correct.
