London: Bloomsbury, (1999). First edition thus, the Bloomsbury Deluxe Edition. The first book in the Harry Potter series was originally published in 1997. The first three volumes in the series were then issued in "deluxe" editions in 1999 (the latter 4 were issued simultaneous to the first trade editions). 8vo red cloth lettered in gilt on front and spine, with front cover pictorial onlay, all edges gilt, and ribbon place marker. Issued without a dust jacket. Ribbon place marker a little frayed otherwise fine.
