First volume is "Harvey Penick's Little Red Book--Lessons and Teachings from a Lifetime in Golf, second is "And if You Play Golf, You're My Friend," respective a 31st edition and 9th edition. First is red covers, very bright gilt lettering on spine, red color inside covers and adjacent end papers, 175 pages. DJ glossy ed, an oval with antique illustration of golfer and caddy at center front, spine faded to purple, a photo in thin frame at top back. Near Fine DJ/Very Fine book. Second is green covers, very bright gilt lettering on spine, 173 pages. A facsimile note on third front end paper with facsimile signature. DJ glossy dark green, a small oval with photo of Twenties golfer and older of Penick in thin frame on back. DJ creased inside front flap at top tip. Near Very Fine DJ/Very Fine book. Both volumes in sturdy slipcase, an oval photo of golfer putting at center right, sepia photo of golfer on tee. Fine book, Fine slipcase.
