Description

The Hasinais were a known, but little researched group of native Americans who lived in East Texas. The period described is from the late 17th century until 1770. The late Herbert Bolton of the University of Texas researched and wrote about them around 1908 from Spanish records. Dr. Bolton went on to Stanford University and the University of California. He died in 1953. The author, Russell Magnaghi, was also a researcher of the Spanish borderlands and arranged to have Bolton's book published. The book is in very good+ condition with bumps on 2 corners and light foxing on the leading edge. The dust jacket has quarter inch tear at the top front and a half inch tear at the back top flap, and is listed a very good.

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
