About This Item
New York: E.P. Dutton, 1978. Hardcover. 8vo. Orange paper over boards with gilt spine lettering, pictorial dust jacket. xi, 143pp. Color illustrations. Very good/very good. Mild jacket edgewear. A tight and attractive second printing of this slim study of (to cite front jacket panel) "How the Tiniest of Birds and a Man's Indomitable Spirit Combined to Bring About a Miracle" -- with her signing boldly in red ballpoint and also signing for her husband co-author (who was going blind), her adding "Happy Hummingbirding!" above the signatures and "Palm Springs 1981" below. Lovely copy.
