New York: St. Martin's Press, 1986 Masterton (1946-) is a British authorwho has written over 100 novels. His first novel was Manitou from 1976. He is considered to be a specialist at horror and the macabre but over his career he has covered all genres. Headlines is entirely different - it is the story of a woman who inherits a newspaper in Chicago. Stated first American edition with full number line. Black cloth binding with gold letteriing on spine only. Binding tight and square, clean and bright with minor bumping at spine. Unclipped dust jacket has minor wear at top of spine area but no tears. 468 pages.
