Sturdy book, black cloth, gilt lettering bright at top front, near-bright on spine, 357 heavy lightly browned pages, a neat note in black ink on third front end paper. DJ heavy paper, a small illustration of Ralph Waldo Emerson at top front, his house at bottom front, spine darkly browned. A list of other biographical works on back. Good DJ/Fine book.
