Soft Cover. 0969247206 . 8vo - 23 x 15 cm.; 200 pp. Author (1903-1982) was a fourth generation descendant of Patrick Milloy, an Irish immigrant who settle in Downeyville, in Emily Township near Peterborough, Ontario. Through poetry, she gives an account of the history of the area and of the life of the Irish pioneer. There is also a listing of the Grantees who received Original Deeds from the Crown, by lot and concession numbers. Also lots of photos. Card stock covers are rubbed with some edgewear; binding is sturdy and text pages clean. .
