The binding is lightly bumped and the spine & the adjacent edge of the rear cover are faded. x & 260 pages. 4 color plates, including a frontispiece with a tissue guard, by Ethel Franklin Betts and decorations & vignettes in black & green by Frederick Garrison Hall. There is a gift inscription penned on the verso of the frontispiece. Very good. <p>First edition with the Betts illustrations.
