New York: Dodd, Mead. Very Good+. 1909. First Edition. Hardcover. First edition. Hardcover in extravagantly decorated mauve cloth boards with pictorial paste down on front. No dust jacket. First printing (1909) . Book is crisp and clean, with tight binding and sharp corners. Very slight curve to boards. Front hinge is slightly weak. Back board has several shallow linear dents. Pictorial pastedown is lightly rubbed, with one tiny nick. Gilt on front and spine is bright. With six full-page color illustrations by Harrison Fisher. Each page has Theodore B. Hapgood decorations, including decorated endpapers. No spotting or mars to the pages. Quite a lavish production. 8vo. 152 pp. .
