Illustrated with charts, tables, formulae etc. Blue cloth-covered boards with black titles and decorations (boards a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine tips, slightly soiled on edges). Internally a little faint, occasional spotting else neat, clean, bright and tight. Original bookseller's ticket label on front endpaper (Martin, Bookseller, 2, High Street, Sandown). A crystal clear yet detailed account of the phenomena of heat, covering temperature, thermometers, expansion of solids, elasticity, calormetry, latent heat, vapours etc. 12mo

Need to Return a Book?

You may return any book for a full refund of the book price for any reason, provided you notify us by email within two weeks of our dispatching the book that you intend to return the book, stating your reasons, and that the book arrives back with us within 30 days of that notification. Outgoing and return shipping costs will only be refunded if there was an error on our part.
