Reviews
On Dec 18 2023, Portia's Books said:
Helen's Babies tells the story of Harry, the brother of Helen. Helen and her husband Tom ask him to stay with their preschoolers while they are out of town, with hilarious results. Habberton drew on observations of his own children for both this, and Mrs. Mayburn's Twins. He renders childrens' dialogue with phonetic accuracy, adding to the charm. Helen's Babies, published at the end of the 19th century was a success as a book for children.
