The author's first book, preceding his Edgar Award-winning first novel, When the Bough Breaks, by four years. Kellerman (b.1949) worked as a staff psychologist at the University of Southern California School of Medicine where he eventually became a full clinical professor of pediatrics. This book for parents is based on his extensive work with anxiety disorders. Octavo. Original blue paper-covered boards over a blue cloth spine, with gilt titles. A tight, unread copy. Some very mild edgewear to the dust jacket; else fine.
