SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR ON FRONT FREE-ENDPAPER AND SIGNED ON TITLE PAGE / THIS NOVEL COVERS THE YEARS 1911-1917 . BOOK IS FINE WITHOUT ANY MARKS TO THE BINDING OR THE TEXT. D.J. IS ABOUT FINE WITH JUST A TRACE OF CORNER RUB, AND IS NOT PRICE-CLIPPED. A BEAUTIFUL CLEAN, BRIGHT, UNFADED COPY WITH NO REMAINDER MARK. The author's inscription on the front free endpaper highlights the mutual admiration of both author and receipient of Vincent Starrett for whom's work the Autolycus Press was established in 1973. In 1980 Norfolk-Hall acquired Autolycus. An interesting association. In 1974 Starrett and Murphy collaborated on "Hemingway: A 75th Anniversary Tribute" in what turned out to be an edition of 25 bound copies. .
